Seems like a venture fund thinks so too and wants to make a go at the concept. It may be a great idea but not a company in itself. One of the public clouds will do this (or they know it doesn’t make sense). CloudSwitch, recently out of stealth mode, moves existing applications from internal data centers to the cloud without rewriting the app or requiring changes in management tools. CloudSwitch has raised $15 million in venture funding from Matrix Partners, Atlas Venture and Commonwealth Venture Partners.
